Remote work, teleworking, remote work or home office, as it is colloquially called in Mexico, has taken on great prominence in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and everything seems to indicate that it is here to stay, since at least 6 out of 10 companies plan to maintain the scheme after the pandemic.

After a longer-than-expected lockdown, working from home has gone through several stages. Initially, we experienced a mix of uncertainty and euphoria surrounding video calls, cloud computing, the convenience of working from home, and the security of remaining within a controlled environment. However, with its increasing frequency came excesses, fatigue from long hours in front of screens, indefinite workdays, technical glitches, and platform vulnerabilities.
