A leader focused on achieving business objectives

Every work environment requires a leader focused on achieving business objectives through outstanding quality and productivity, and transformational leadership is one of the best ways to achieve this.

WHAT IS TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP?

Transformational leadership is a leadership style in which leaders encourage, inspire, and motivate employees to innovate and create changes that will help the company grow and shape its future success. It's a management style designed to give employees more space to be creative, look to the future, and find new solutions to old problems. Employees on the leadership path will also be prepared to become transformational leaders themselves through mentorship and training.

BASIC COMPONENTS

Generally speaking, four essential components of transformational leadership can be distinguished:

  1. Intellectual stimulationThe leader fosters the creativity of their team, encouraging them to explore new ways of doing things and new opportunities.
  2. Effective communication. It involves maintaining open lines of communication, both individually and collectively. This ensures that new ideas are shared. These same communication channels allow for recognizing collaborators, motivating them, and fostering proactivity.
  3. Inspiration and motivation. It is the ability to transmit their motivation and passion that generates employees who are more proactive and committed to the organization.
  4. Influence on the organization. The transformational leader is chosen as a role model for their team. It is thanks to this that new transformational leaders can emerge within the organization, since leadership is a skill that, although sometimes innate, can also be developed and trained.

CHARACTERISTICS OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP

These are the characteristics of a transformational leader, which distinguish them from other types of leaders. A transformational leader is someone who:

  • It fosters motivation and positive development within your team.
  • It exemplifies moral standards within an organization and promotes the same in others.
  • It fosters an ethical work environment with clear values, priorities, and standards.
  • It emphasizes authenticity, cooperation, and open communication.
  • It provides advice and guidance, but allows employees to make decisions and take charge of directing tasks.

To become this type of leader, one must create habits and put them into practice through specific behaviors.

En GDI We aim to develop these types of leaders, ensuring that each team member experiences diverse stimulation in the workplace, receiving ongoing training and making better use of technology, and seeking inspiration and motivation from leaders in various areas.

We seek to be a leading company made up of leaders.
